Goodbye Little Buddy

I have been through a lot with my car. Dr Summers christened him "Chet" after someone on The Bachelor, but I lovingly refer to him as "Little Buddy"

Little Buddy is full of character. If he gets too cold, the doors will fly open. The heater and knobs could use some help. We like to play "guess when the doors will lock." His new favorite game is "when will the dinger stop?"

My Little Buddy was there for me when I started college, my first job at the orthodontist, my move to Logan, and everything in between. He has served me very well over the years, but now it is time for him to move on to someone else who will love him - my sister, Courtney!

My qualifications for a car to take my Little Buddys place - color and heat, and no wood paneling (sorry mom & dad)
We were successful!

Meet Elantra (The name is still under discussion. Feel free to leave a suggestion)

Special thanks to Clayson for doing all the work to find this little gem.

May the adventures begin!

  1. We're excited to have Little Buddy come and live with us, and no offense taken on the wood paneling. You have to be a certain age to like that and you guys haven't lived long enough to appreciate the finer things of life! (No offense, Clayson!)

  3. I am so proud of you for letting go of your old car! I approve of Elantra. I still have nightmares about our trip to Pocatello. (that might be an exaggeration)

  4. Haha! Izzy, I still think about that drive and you complaining about all the slow drivers in Idaho. That was a great trip :)
