I've Never Done Worse At School In My LIFE!!!

But on the up side, I'm having a lot of fun!  (prepare yourself for a LOT of pictures)

Katelyn came to visit and we watched a Wait Until Dark outside on a projector with Jack. Later that night, the three of us made a midnight Denny's run!

Guitars Unplugged!

And just spending time with friends

Stadium Singing! (check out those amazing balancing skills!)

These are also the indexing regulars. They're pretty cool  :)

Dinner at Bishops

And a flat tire to top it off

Work, of course.
This is Tenille and me waiting for Dr Summers to unlock the doors in Rigby.

And a lot of time with family!

Sierra, Mykell and I went to the store all ready to be thrifty with our coupons, but (long story short) it didn't work out.
Best part of the trip: a friend randomly calls me and asks for a recommendation on Art History books - so random! Then right after I hang up, this random lady I have never seen before in my life walks by and says to me, "Never become a teacher." Then she leaves. Do you get any more random than that??

Courtney and Dad pretending like they won their tennis match

Chalk!

And just general fun-ness

Sierra and I have a pancake party every Friday. This week Evelyn got to join us!

She was such a big help

We made it into a Princess Pancake Party

There was a really LOUD thunder storm and Evelyn was getting a little scared. I told her that the sky was just talking to her saying, "Hi Evelyn!" After she knew the sky was friendly and only wanted to join our Princess Pancake Party, we could hardly get her to come away from the window! She and the sky are good friends now :)

Evelyn brought pineapple juice to our Princess Pancake Party
(notice how much of the pancake she actually ate)

Her favorite thing to do was "cheers!"

Look at that face! Pure happiness  :)

we also played with play-dough

This weekend I went to Logan to visit Katelyn. I love it there! I'm moving there after I graduate, and it can't seem to come soon enough! Then we can make giant cupcakes all the time!

p.s.  I don't know what's up with the videos, but at least they're on. I'm not complaining, so neither should you

Alma 26:27

Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine affliction, and I will give unto you success.

Suspicious Behavior

I am taking engagement pictures for my good friends Susie and Dan tomorrow!

This was their practice shot. Be sure to check my photo blog for more upcoming pictures!

I'm planning on taking them at a park in St Anthony, so tonight I drove there with my friend, Jack, to scope the place out. We had a lot of fun walking around and then we really got into the spirit of things and decided to drive around and look at other good photography places in St Anthony. It's not a very big town, so it lended itself well to driving slowly by potential locations and flipping u-turns in the middle of the road as we would decide to take a different road last minute. It was enjoyable! We were trying to find a certain little church when I saw the lights in my rear view mirror.

"Am I being pulled over? I think I'm being pulled over! Why am I being pulled over? I didn't do anything wrong! Did I do something wrong? I didn't do anything wrong!"

I have never been pulled over before.

The police officer came over and I rolled my window down. "Is there any particular reason you didn't put your turn signal on back there?"

Are you KIDDING me!??

"No. I probably just got excited because we found the church." (It was across the street from where I was pulled over)

"Are you headed to a ward function?"

"No. We were just looking for the church."

Luckily, Jack had the sense to explain that we were looking for photography locations. Jack was fabulous through this whole thing.

I gave the police officer my license and he went back to his car. I took my camera out to document my first time being pulled over. Jack freaked out and said I couldn't do that. I tried to get him to take a picture, but he was too scared  :)

The police officer returned and told me that I looked "suspicious" driving around slowly, making u-turns, etc. He had been watching us, just waiting for me to forget to put my blinker on so that he could pull me over. I can't believe that my forst time getting pulled over was for "suspicious behavior!"

I guess I can't complain though because he let me go, and thankfully he didn't ask for my registration or anything cause I'm pretty sure I don't have that stuff.

I ended up having to take my own documenting picture, but Jack put his head in front of the cop car. Oh well, maybe next time  :)

Porter wrote me a song!

This song is DEFINITELY worth listening to!

This song makes me so unbelievably happy every time I listen to it :)

I don't know why there are two of the same thing. Maybe it's just one of those things that's worth watching twice!

We have way too much fun together  :)

They Just Don't Make Shows Like They Used To

Saturday night Kandace, Patux, Tyler Shotwell and I made Chicken Alfredo and watched Boy Meets World.

Patux showed off his cooking skills and produced some fabulous Chicken Alfredo. Who knew all this time he had been hiding his talent under a bushel.

Tyler worked his usual magic and found the first four seasons of Boy Meets World in 15min. If you want something to get done, leave it to Tyler!

Kandace had a very specific agenda of which episodes we watched in order to ensure the best quality for our time. She was great at guiding us through the seasons - one show from each, beginning with the pilot episode.

And what did I do, you ask? I ate Chicken Alfredo to my hearts content. Then, I laid on the couch and laughed at the pure genius that is Boy Meets World. I tell you, that show is even better than I remembered it being! And then, of course, I took the above picture so that the experience could be documented and remembered for generations to come.

Life doesn't get much better than this  :)

That didn't hurt!

I have worked as an orthodontics assistant for the past 4 years and I love it! I love the people I work with. I love that I get to do a lot of diverse things that are hands on and there is always something to do. I love that I get to work with the public and explain things to them and just be nice.

Most of the time I really enjoy our patients, but sometimes there are those really obnoxious people. They drive me nuts! They drive everyone in the office nuts!  Sometimes I just don't have the patience for these people. Yesterday was one of those days.

I sat this girl back and went to untie her and she winced her face up in pain and even flinched! I know this girl and I knew she was dramatic, but I just was not in the mood, so I said

"Are you ok? Did that hurt? Cause I haven't even touched you yet. So, if that hurt, there is probably something seriously wrong and we better get it checked out!"

I said this like I really thought there might be something wrong and we should be rushing her to the nearest doctor. As I went in the second time I said

"Ok, this shouldn't hurt at all, so if it does we have a problem that we need to fix."

Guess what, she was cured! I'm telling you, it was a miracle.  Of course, when Dr. Summers came she had more pained faces, but when I had her again they were at least limited.

I always say I'm the "mean" assistant. Tenille probably would have given her a cotton roll to bite down on. I mock her in a concerned voice. But honestly, some people...........

Sierra got a Blog!

I think that's pretty self explanatory.

It was quite the adventure and I'm just hoping it didn't mess up any of my blog stuff because it very well may have. I guess we'll see!

Boys

I complain about boys a lot. I get frustrated with boys a lot. Especially lately, I have done my fair share of grumbling. But, I just have to say that I have also been incredibly blessed with some amazing guys in my life.

Guys who have always been there for me. Guys who are willing to help in any way. Guys who will do things with me and just be a friend.

They are always there to lift me up and give me words of encouragement. Girls might compliment me, but it means more when a guy does (I'm sure guys feel the same about girls). The smallest things - a little text or facebook post, or supporting me at my shows or indexing - mean so much to me!

I love being with these boys so much, and I feel so honored that they are my friends.

These are just some of the amazing guys in  my life. Trust me, there are more, (you know who you are) but these are the pictures I had on hand.

I just wanted to say thanks  :)

I may have just been cheated out of a lot of money.......

I started a website! And hosting is rediculously confusing! Hopefuly it's worth it.

Take a look!

Still a work in progress and I need to get rid of the annoying thing at the bottom and stuff, but I'm still pretty proud. I just hope this whole thing doesn't backfire on me!
